Marina Service Schedule

Efficient. Organized. Predictable.

To keep pricing low and service consistent, we group all clients by marina and clean every vessel on dedicated Marina Service Days. This eliminates unnecessary travel, reduces wait times, and ensures your hull receives routine care on a reliable schedule each month.

How It Works

Each marina is assigned 1–2 recurring service days every month.
If your boat is in that marina, you’ll be automatically placed on the service list for those days. You’ll receive a reminder the day before we dive, and a full cleaning report afterward.

Why We Use Route Days

  • Lower cost for you — no extra trip fees.
  • More consistent cleaning — predictable intervals = cleaner hull.
  • Better reliability — we service entire marinas in organized loops.
  • Faster communication — you always know when your next cleaning is scheduled.

Assigned Service Days

Lynnhaven Inlet —  1st & 3rd Tuesdays

(Marina Shores, Long Bay Pointe, private docks)

Steady mid-week service for one of Virginia Beach’s busiest boating communities. Ideal for cruisers, sportfishers, and recreational boaters who want consistent hull care on a predictable schedule.

Norfolk Cluster —  2nd & 4th Tuesdays

(Morningstar, Little Creek Marina, JEBLC, Cobb’s Marina, Rebel Marine, Willoughby Harbor)

Scheduled to best support Wednesday Night Little Creek Racers and Thursday Willoughby Racers, ensuring local sailors have clean, fast bottoms before race nights.

Race Prep Add-Ons:

  • Light scum-line cleaning
  • Prop, shaft & running-gear prep
  • Entanglement removal
  • Optional pre-race video check

A clean bottom is a fast bottom — racers can request race-day prep in advance.

Norfolk & Portsmouth Yacht Clubs — 1st & 3rd Wednesdays
(Norfolk Yacht & Country Club, Portsmouth Yacht Club)

Dedicated mid-week service for club boats, scheduled to minimize disruption and align with typical member usage patterns. Wednesday daytime service ensures hulls are clean and performance-ready without interfering with race nights, social events, or weekend sailing.

This route is intentionally limited and relationship-focused, providing consistent care for boats that value discretion, reliability, and long-term maintenance over volume scheduling.

Rudee Inlet / Lake Wesley —  1st & 3rd Thursdays

Optimized to serve charter boats and offshore fishermen preparing for weekend trips. Thursday service ensures boats are clean before heading offshore Friday–Sunday.

Bay Point Marina — 2nd & 4th Thursdays

End-of-week service for one of Norfolk’s largest mixed-fleet marinas. Ideal timing for recreational boaters needing a clean hull heading into the weekend.

If you don’t see your marina listed:
We may already service nearby locations or can add your marina to an existing route — just reach out, and we’ll get you on the schedule.

Need a Specific Day?

We also offer On-Demand Cleaning outside of our regular marina schedule for boaters who prefer to choose their own date. On-demand service is scheduled outside normal route days and billed at the premium rate.

On-Demand Boats under 40 ft: $165 flat rate

On-Demand 40 ft and over: $5 per foot

Most clients stay with their Marina Service Day because it provides the best value and the most consistent results.

How Our Service Works

Scheduled Route Service. Simple Monthly Billing.

We operate on scheduled marina routes to deliver consistent, reliable in-water service. Most clients are enrolled in our route-based maintenance program with simple monthly autopay billed on the first of each month.

Your monthly payment is calculated by:

  • The services you request (hull cleaning, zincs, inspections, etc.)
  • Your vessel’s length and configuration
  • Seasonal service requirements
  • Your marina’s assigned route schedule

The total annual cost is then averaged evenly across 12 months for predictable billing—no large winter surcharges and no surprise invoices.

Why We Use Monthly Autopay

  • Ensures priority placement on our service routes
  • Allows consistent vessel maintenance year-round
  • Eliminates per-visit invoicing and billing delays
  • Keeps monthly costs predictable regardless of season

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at admin@seastrongmarine.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Per-visit billing creates inconsistent scheduling, delayed payments, and uneven vessel maintenance. Monthly autopay allows us to plan routes efficiently and provide priority service. On-demand services outside of route scheduling are billed at the hourly rate.

Cold-water service increases dive time, gear requirements, and safety considerations. Instead of billing large winter surcharges, we average winter month adjustments across the year to keep monthly payments consistent.

Your monthly amount is readjusted to reflect the updated annual service plan.

Yes. Route placement requires a minimum 6-month service term. This allows us to maintain efficient routes and consistent staffing.
