Heavy Fouling: $195/hr billed in 15 minute increments ($100 minimum)
What Counts as 'Heavy Fouling'?
Thick marine growth is identified by a combination of barnacles, oysters, hard shell buildup, dense algae, and long grass that covers large sections of the bottom. This level of growth requires significantly more time and effort to remove and may require multiple passes or specialized tools. Owners will be notified of heavy fouling before any transaction.
On-Demand and Off-Route Pricing
For one-time service or vessels not located on scheduled marina routes.
Hourly Service Rate: $225/hr billed in 15-minute increments. $150 minimum
This rate applies to hull cleaning, zinc replacement, prop service, and other diver-performed services requested outside of scheduled routes. Subject to availability.

How Our Service Works
We operate on dedicated marina routes to deliver reliable, recurring in-water service. Billing is handled through a route-based maintenance program with annual costs averaged monthly for predictable pricing.

Video Inspection — $125 (Standalone)
A comprehensive diver-shot underwater survey covering all major structures: hull, keel, running gear, propellers, shafts, intakes, and visible anodes. Perfect for troubleshooting vibration, reduced speed, overheating, or simply verifying your boat’s underwater condition.

Every hull cleaning automatically includes a short, clear video documenting your boat’s underwater health. We show you the hull, running gear, anodes, through-hulls, and any issues we encounter so you always know exactly what’s going on below the waterline. Transparent, professional, and included at no extra cost.
Winter Cold-Water Labor Adjustments (Nov–April)
Cold-Water / Winter Labor Adjustments
During the winter months, Chesapeake Bay water temperatures routinely fall into the 40°F range. Cold water significantly impacts labor demand, dive conditions, bottom time, gear requirements, and safety. Because of this, a small seasonal adjustment applies during winter months:
Winter Hull Cleaning Adjustment
- Up to 39 ft — + $65 flat winter adjustment
- Over 40 ft — + $1.75/ft winter adjustment
Winter Anode / Zinc Replacement
- If combined with a hull cleaning: $30 per anode
- Standalone winter anode service: $45 per anode
- $135 minimum for standalone winter zinc service
